棕色粉末。能溶于水，水溶液中加入盐酸色泽无变化；加氢氧化钠后色泽变浅。于浓硫酸中呈绿光黄色，稀释后色泽不变。染色时遇铜、铁离子色光变暗。
产品用途：
弱酸性黄棕 3GL 适用于羊毛、蚕丝以及羊毛混纺织物的染色，一般不用于印花。用于羊毛与其他纤维同浴染色时，醋酸纤维、涤纶、腈纶、纤维素纤维均稍有沾色。匀染性和拔染性良好。
