EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
Toxic if swallowed. Irritating to eyes. Harmful by inhalation.Corrosive.Water-reactive.The toxicological properties of this material have not been fully investigated.

Eye:
Causes eye burns. May cause irreversible eye injury.
Skin:
Causes skin burns. May be absorbed through the skin in harmful amounts.
Ingestion:
Harmful if swallowed. May cause severe gastrointestinal tract irritation with nausea, vomiting and possible burns.
Inhalation:
Causes chemical burns to the respiratory tract. The toxicological properties of this substance have not been fully investigated.
Inhalation may be fatal as a result of spasm, inflammation, edema of the larynx and bronchi, chemical pneumonitis and pulmonary edema.

Section 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES
Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid immediately.
Skin:
Get medical aid. Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.
Ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting. If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid immediately.
Inhalation:
Get medical aid immediately. Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen.

Section 5 - FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
General Information:
As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion.
Extinguishing Media:
Do NOT use carbon dioxide. Use dry chemical to fight fire. Do NOT use halogenated agents. Use alcohol foam. DO NOT USE WATER!

Wash thoroughly after handling. Wash hands before eating. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Use only in a well-ventilated area. Empty containers retain product residue, (liquid and/or vapor), and can be dangerous. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Do not get on skin or in eyes. Do not ingest or inhale. Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind, or expose empty containers to heat, sparks or open flames.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place. Keep under a nitrogen blanket. Keep refrigerated. (Store below 4C/39F.) Heat can cause thermal decomposition and pressure build-up inside containers. Storage for long periods is not recommended.
