Section 3 - HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
Flammable. Harmful if swallowed.
Potential Health Effects
Eye:
May cause eye irritation. May cause conjunctivitis.
Skin:
May cause skin irritation. Prolonged and/or repeated contact may cause irritation and/or dermatitis. May be harmful if absorbed through the skin.
Ingestion:
Harmful if swallowed. May cause liver and kidney damage. May cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and increased salivation.
Inhalation:
Causes severe respiratory tract irritation. May be harmful if inhaled.
Chronic:
May cause liver and kidney damage.
Section 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES
Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid.
Skin:
Flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical aid if irritation develops or persists.
Ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting. If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid immediately.
Inhalation:
Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid if cough or other symptoms appear. Do NOT use mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. If breathing has ceased apply artificial respiration using oxygen and a suitable mechanical device such as a bag and a mask.

Section 5 - FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
General Information:
As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. Will burn if involved in a fire. Dust can be an explosion hazard when exposed to heat or flame. This material in sufficient quantity and reduced particle size is capable of creating a dust explosion. Flammable solid. May burn rapidly with flare burning effect. May re-ignite after fire is extinguished.
Extinguishing Media:
In case of fire, use water, dry chemical, chemical foam, or alcohol-resistant foam. Contact professional fire-fighters immediately. Cool containers with flooding quantities of water until well after fire is out.
