Section 3 - HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
Irritating to eyes, respiratory system and skin.Light sensitive.Air sensitive.
Potential Health Effects
Eye:
Causes eye irritation. May cause painful sensitization to light.
Causes redness and pain.
Skin:
Causes skin irritation. May cause skin sensitization, an allergic reaction, which becomes evident upon re-exposure to this material.
Substance is rapidly absorbed through the skin. May cause dermatitis.
Contact with the skin may cause photosensitivity.
Ingestion:
May cause irritation of the digestive tract.
Inhalation:
Causes respiratory tract irritation. May cause liver and kidney damage. May cause anemia.
Chronic:
Chronic inhalation may cause effects similar to those of acute inhalation.
Section 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES
Eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid.
Skin:
Get medical aid. Flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes.
Ingestion:
If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid.
Inhalation:
Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid.

Section 5 - FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
General Information:
As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. This material in sufficient quantity and reduced particle size is capable of creating a dust explosion. Flammable solid.
Extinguishing Media:
Use water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or chemical foam.
