EMERGENCY OVERVIEW

Potential Health Effects
Eye:
May cause eye irritation. Exposure to particulates or solution may cause conjunctivitis, ulceration, and corneal abnormalities.
Skin:
May cause skin irritation. May cause skin sensitization, an allergic reaction, which becomes evident upon re-exposure to this material.
Ingestion:
May cause irritation of the digestive tract. May cause liver and kidney damage.
Inhalation:
May cause asthmatic attacks due to allergic sensitization of the respiratory tract. May cause respiratory tract irritation.
Chronic:
Prolonged or repeated exposure may lead to asthma and perforation of the nasal septum. Repeated inhalation may cause chronic bronchitis.

Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid.
Skin:

Ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting. If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid.

General Information:
As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear.
